The volumetric weight is related to measures of the package and the space it occupies in the transport. Airlines take into account the higher value between weight and volume to apply their tariffs. Likewise, SKYBOX applies the same policy for bulky/high volume packages. To calculate the volumetric weight of a package we apply the following formula:
Length x Width x Height (cm) / 5000.
For the convenience of its customers, SKYBOX applies this rule to packages that measure over (25 centimeters = 10 inches) on each side.
